The first of three par 5's on the second nine plays parallel to #10, with a slight dog leg right. The fairway slopes from left to right, almost guaranteeing that you'll have a side hill lie for your second shot. Reachable for longer hitters, the green is highly contoured and is protected by bunkers left and right front. A good tee shot will leave you somewhere around 225-250 yards out. Because the fairway slopes left-to-right, it's not uncommon to find yourself near the bottom part of the fairway. The green is guarded with bunkers on both front corners, leaving only a small neck if you intend to roll a ball on. Viewed from about 100 yards out, the 11th green is guarded left and right by bunkers. The green is heavily contoured, making for challenging putting. Viewed from behind the green, you can see that there is lots of room in the fairway, but there is only a narrow entrance to the green, guarded by bunkers on both front corners. |
