The fifth of six par 5's at Lake Valley, the 14th is a dog leg left. Keep it in the fairway and this is another easy hole. Hit it crooked and there's lots of chances for danger. OB guards the entire left side of the hole. A small lake waits right of the fairway near the tee shot landing area. Reachable with two good shots, the green is another wide but not very deep putting test.

From about 200 yards away, this is a "go for it" par 5. A solitary bunker watches the right front corner, but shots long or left often leave a short-sided chip shot to the narrowest part of the green.

The 14th green is wide, but very shallow on the left side. Ample contours once again make putting a challenge.

Our famous catalpa tree rests on the left side of the fairway, near the tee shot landing area. Twenty years ago you could walk under the limb that is now resting on the ground. It never fell, it just slowly made its way to the ground over a period of years.
