The fifth of six par 5's at Lake Valley, the 14th
is a slight dog leg left. Keep it in the fairway and this is another
easy hole. Hit it crooked and there's lots of chances for
danger. OB guards the entire left side of the hole. A
small lake waits right of the fairway near the tee shot landing
area. Reachable with two good shots, the green is another wide
but not very deep putting test.
Only a single bunker guards the right front corner of the green, but the
slopes and contours lead to a difficult "up and down" if you miss the green
in the wrong position. Over the green guarantees you a chip from the
rough to a green that slopes away from you. |

| This is a "go for it" par 5, and probably one of the easiest birdie chances on the course. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

Our famous catalpa tree rests on the left side of the fairway, near the tee shot landing area. Twenty years ago you could walk under the limb that is now resting on the ground. It never fell, it just slowly made its way to the ground over a period of years.
