Below you will find the two pictures that are morphed in the movie above.  The "old" picture was taken sometime in the early 1980's, probably around 1983-84, the newer picture just a couple years ago.  I couldn't do an exact morph, as the two photos weren't taken at the exact same location, but they are close enough to demonstrate some of the changes that have taken place.   There are a number of noticeable differences in the 16th & 17th holes.

In the old picture, notice that the lake is much smaller than it is today.  The line of trees and brush that you see in the old picture is actually part of the drainage ditch (creek?) that crossed below the dam.  When the lake was expanded in the winter of 1987/88 it took in all of the area that was previously the dam and the creek.

You can also see the cart path crossing the creek in the extreme right side of the old picture.  This is much closer to the tee than where the creek presently crosses the fairway.  My best guess is that this path was just a few yards past the willow tree that is there today.  In fact, the willow tree would be very near the same location as the sycamore trees are in the old picture.

If you look closely in the photo above you can see a slight depression crossing #16 fairway (red arrows).  This is the approximate location of where the old ditch crossed the fairway.  The red line on the lake shows the approximate location of the old dam, showing that the lake was significantly enlarged.
