This
par 5 offers a generous tee shot landing area, once you safely navigate the
narrow opening through the tree line and the creek (again). From there,
the fairway narrows gradually as you proceed uphill towards the green.
From 150 yards and in, the entire left side of the fairway is tree lined, so be
careful not to pull your second shot. A good tee shot will leave you
tempted to "go for it" in two, but the deep front bunker stands as a
potential penalty if you come up short. As the second par 5 in the first 3
holes, this is the last "warm up" hole before you get to something
really tuff.
