A tough as nails finishing hole for the first nine, this
hole plays up hill all the way with a slight dog leg right.
A large stand of trees protects the right side of the fairway,
requiring either a "cut" second shot or a tee shot on the left
half of the fairway in order to access the green. The
55' elevation rise combined with a frequently present head wind
makes the hole feel much longer than the scorecard says it is.
From
the dogleg, the fairway bends gently to the right. A tee
shot that is short or right will likely require a layout shot to
get out from behind the trees. The green boasts two levels, with a
nasty rear top-shelf Sunday pin placement shown here.
